The primary coil is in series in the circuit, and the number of turns is very small. Therefore, the current in the primary coil depends entirely on the load current of the circuit being tested, but not on the secondary current;
The current coil impedance of the current Transformer secondary coil and the relay are very small, so under normal circumstances, the current Transformer is running near short circuit.
The ratio of the first and second rated current to the current Transformer, called the rated mutual inductance ratio: kn = I1n / I2n
Since primary coil rated current I1n has been standardized and secondary coil rated current I2n has been unified to 5(1 or 0.5) Ann, the rated mutual inductance ratio of current Transformer has also been standardized. Kn can also be expressed roughly as the turn ratio of the first and secondary coils of the transformer, i.e. the turn ratio of N1. N2 to the first and second coils in the Kn _ kN = N1/N2.
