The zinc oxide arrester is the most advanced over-voltage protector in the world, Due to make the risistor disc of core componet mainly adopt zine oxide arrester. Compared with the conventional silicon carbide arrester, this presciption of the product improves gr-eatly the volt-Ampere characterisics of the resistor disc and increased through-current capability at over-voltage so as to dring a rad-ical changes for the characteristics of the arresters. Under the circumstance of normal operating voltage, the current through the arrester is just on microampere degree, When suff-ered from over-voltage, the arrester's excellent nonlinear characteristics will make the current through the arrester incrase to several thousand amperse, while the arrester will be under the circulating state and release over-voltage energy so as to protecting the power transmission equipments against the demage caused by th over-voltage.

Usage & Feature
The Zinc Oxide lighting arrester protects the electrical equipments in AC power systems against being damaged by atmos-pheric over-voltage and operational over-voltage.

The switch room consists of various functional circuits(including grounding switches and load switches) sealed in the metal casing and busbar between them. The shell is made of 3-inch cold rolled steel plate(or unembroidered steel plate) welded. Each functional loop includes a load switch and a grounding switch. The load switch is composed of a vertical moving contact system and a static contact at the lower end. When the switch is closed, the contact moves downward and the load switch is connected. The ground switch is composed of a moving contact knife and a static contact knife. The upper and rear of the switch room are provided with 4 rectangular assemblers, and the front of the loop cabinet is provided with observation Windows. An explosion-proof device is installed at the rear of the ring cabinet.
